Over the years, DJ Soulchild has developed himself into a self-made entrepreneur and icon on the Swiss R&B scene, not only by shaking up clubs across Europe as a well-respected DJ and thus earning his title as 'The R&B King' with his selectively picked and unmistakably smooth sets, but also as a successful Event Manager / Artist Manager & Promoter / Booking Agent / Songwriter / Co-Producer / Remixer. After 9 years of endless highs and lows in the music industry, the group parted ways back in 2004 on a friendly basis. His first major contribution to the scene started as a lead singer of Switzerland's popular and very-first R&B/Pop boyband '4tonite', which saw him win numerous talent competitions across Switzerland and Germany, and even provided him with the opportunity to support major acts, such as 112, Lumidee, Naturally 7 and Solange Knowles (Beyoncé's sister).
